Welcome to Paper Robots

This is a newsletter that goes to more than 2,000 subscribers every two weeks. I started this site based on three beliefs:

  1. Parents and kids should talk more with each other about money.

  2. Kids need opportunities to make meaningful choices over time.

  3. Grown ups can improve their own financial lives by reflecting on the basic money values they learned as a kid.

I give helpful advice to grown ups and kids based on academic research (mostly economics) and real world experience.

Please leave a comment on an article and join the conversation. You can also drop me a direct message or email. I want to hear from everyone. We all have so much experience to share!
